Wanted to give something back to my community and hopefully make a difference in someones life. We are often overlooked until we are needed but its knowing that when we are needed that we can all pull together as a family and help out our neighbor, to me there is no better feeling a person could have.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The feeling you get for helping out others and the assocation with other firefighters.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Safety is always at the top of the list but without the proper funding for training and equipment safety can not always be achieved. We must be able to be trained in the areas that we face in different situtations and also in the areas they call the " 1%". You never know when that training will not only save your life, but also that of your partner. We all live by the motto " 2 in 2 out."
