Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Loved watching it on tv as a child and seeing/following the firetrucks, and joined when I had the chance. Have always loved it and will do it as long I can possibly do it. Very exciting, like helping others, and it gives you a GREAT sense of accomplishment when you've done a good job. You see things good and bad most other people will never see in thier lifetime.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
DOING THE JOB NO MATTER WHAT IT MAY BE! AND ALL THE GREAT BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THIS IS TRULY A FAMILY AND BROTHER/SISTERHOOD!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
GETTING THERE SAFELY AND STAYING SAFE DOING THE JOB. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO GO HOME! TRAINING, SAFETY, CUTBACKS, RETENTION, SEATBELTS, POLITICS, STAFFING, IDIOTS THAT DON'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT OF WAY.....

Hi Scott, actually, the pictures are from the flood which devastated Davidson and Williamson Counties back in May. The three newest shots (dated July 26) are from a tornado which hit two days ago in the same area so we had some victims who were double-whammied. Warned one lady that if she sees any locusts, it is time to move to a new location ... got her smiling!
