About Me:
I joined the newly formed Hartland Fire Company in 1971 and left in 1977 due to moving out of the district. After a four year break, I joined Wrights Corners in 1981, and in 2005, moved again back to my roots and rejoined Hartland in 2005. In these two companies, I have served in many positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, EMS Captain, Fire Police Captain, Parade Marshall and Third Assistant Chief.
My other passion is Boy Scouting. I have been involved off and on since I became a Scout in 1955. I have attended a National Jamboree, (1957), Philmont, National Sea Base, and many years at Summer Camp. After I retired, I worked in our local Scout Store and 9 years at Camp Dittmer. After several years of non-involvement, I am going back to Camp as Shooting Sports Director this year. For my years at Camp, I attended 4 BSA National Camp Schools.
In a couple of weeks I will be moving to Idaho City, Idaho. I will miss family and friends, but this will be a new adventure.
