About Me:
I "retired" From Utica Fire 4 years ago and thought I could stay away, boy was I wrong. The call to serve called me back and te hunger is worse then many years ago. I'm been as high as Distric Chief and left as a Captian. I just want to ride backwards and enjoy fighting fire again. I don't want to be in command for awhile because there are to many headachs with that. I want to be a firefightger..

There is no better feeling then to know you just saved a life or a person's home, and the Brotherhood of firefighter's.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I feel and think the lack of respect from other drivers on the road when they see a emergancy vehicle is one of the bigest things. I saw a school bus just yesterday almost hit a City fire truck trying to make a run and they had to see them a good 100 feet away and didn't care.

    Pleasure to meet you. Just thought i would introduce myself. My name is Dina and I am one of your firefighter/paramedic sisters. I just moved up to TN from Florida. I am a volunteer firefighter for Morgan County TN and I work as an EMT-B for now in Monticello KY. When I pass my paramedic national registry written exam, I will be able to perform pre-hospital skills in KY,TN, etc as a medic. That written test is a dusey. I passed the parcticals. Well anyways, just thought i would say hello. how far are you from Monticello KY?
