- I started in the fire service as an Explorer with LACoFD and then became a Fireground Photographer; I then became involved with Clark County Fire Department, which is a combination department (Urban Division - paid/Rural Division - volunteer) and I'm currently holding the rank of Captain with the Rural Division.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- To assist in the community as a volunteer firefighter and to spread the knowledge of the fire service (especially for the volunteer departments) through my photography.
- Why I Love Fire/EMS
- In-explainable...it's in the blood, family tradition, sense of helping the community...you pick.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Besides current economic conditions and budget cuts. The community/society lack of education/knowledge of the fire service and it's volunteers not realizing that volunteers received training as the "regular firefighter*" do in some communities and not receiving the respect due to them.
