Why I Joined Fire/EMS: To save lives. In law enforcement there is the opporunity to save lives, but there are those unwanted times when you may have to take a life to get a criminal off the streets. If I had to do it to save a life, I could do it, but wouldn't like it. I'm just not a killer. I want to save a life, not take it. In the fire service, it's all about saving lives and helping people. Thats what I all about.
