Just read your post, sorry I am answering so very very late. it has been quite the summer and into fall for me. Wish I had more time in the day to other things beside work all the time.
I wish you could have had my exerience w/ the TKR. I am doing great w/ the new knee. Maybe not as well I as would want but pretty darn close. Doctor wanted 115 degrees of angle from my knee in bending back I had 112 degrees and probably have gained about 2 degrees more. It has been a bit more difficult with the fact that the doctor cleaned up the scar tissue on the tendons of the quadtricep. Rehab (even now) is hard to do because of the quad does not want to stretch out at all. It hurts a lot when i do my excercises but I know it will get the job done. Hang in there, it will get better keep doing the work out on the legs!!!
Don't get on the website much, but due to the ortho surgery about 4 hours ago for the other knee, I am now on STD until at least mid July. Damn, getting old is a bitch!!, mind is 25 and body somedays feels like 250. TKR knee is doing great and is Perfect!!!!
