Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I was a boy of 12 when my grandmother asked what I wanted to do when I grew up, ( I still refuse to do by the why) I told her I wanted to be a fireman. She said farming is hard work. My mother died an untimely death, just 7 years latter. from that point on nothing was more important to me than to serve others. I spent 4 years U.S. Air Force, and the rest has been EMS and Fire for the most part.
