Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When a girlfriend died a few yrs. ago,I wondered what I could have done to help her.I joined SRFVFD.We are a small community in the adirondacks so we don't get very many fires so I got into ems.Now I'm AEMT-CC and was voted in as ambulance cheif for 2008.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the adrenilin rush,tohelp people in need,a way to help out in the community
Top Issues Facing Responders:
not enough volunteers,no dedication in some of the ones who do volunteer,sue happy people

    ya i know what you mean. my plant had 20,00 people there when i started in 1976 when i had tranfer to northen mich , they took the place to the ground. whata shame
