Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When I was 5 years old, my father arranged a ride on the tailboard of an FDNY Engine. We went around the block twice. Like all little boys, I always wanted to grow up and become a fireman. Then after watching the TV Show EMERGENCY, I realized my calling. That is my story and I am sticking to it!
