About Me:
Love anything outdoors. Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, Biking, Kayaking, etc. A++ personality, Mom or Big Sister to the crew. Nickname "Peep" thanks to a training night and a yellow tyvek suit that no one else could fit into.
Day Job:
FF/Medic

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Enjoy helping people and letting folks that really need care know that there really are people out here that care about them, and I get to drive/Operate wicked big trucks. "Wicked" an adjective used a "wicked-good" lot in Maine.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
We never know what our next call is going to be whether Fire of EMS and in our station we have to be able to operate all apparatus including the engines, tankers, ladder truck and the smaller units. Never a dull moment, how could there be, we have bright yellow trucks!!!!!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
It's getting harder for our call members to volunteer their time. The economy is forcing folks to find a second job that pays a lot better than call fire and EMS. Unfortunately, doing good for your fellow man doesn't pay the bills.
