Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I grew up in and around a Firehouse as I come from a long line of Firefighters (5th Generation) My first run was when I was 3 yrs old..My Grandfather, Chief at the time, took me to a Train derailment. I was horrified at the sights and the sounds but the very second I seen the First Due Engine, I knew all would be ok and right then I knew I was going to be lifer
