Wow, there are so many reasons, one was familiarty (my dad was an EMT-B for a local volunteer rescue squad), my addiction to a good adrinaline rush, the fact I enjoy helping people...I really got into EMS for a career by accident, I took the EMT-B class to help me with the nursing program, but fell in love with working in the feild, and now I'm a medic student....theres so many reasons I got into this to be honest, I just love it
