Top Issues Facing Responders:
Money to operate on and their safety when getting on scene, because of the crime rate involved in accidents. In my area, drugs are involved in to many types of response calls, making the scene dangerous for FF..with only $5500.00 income a year at the FD it's hard very to keep and get needed equipment and little chance of up-grades. retest air bottles at $25.00 each ladders at $75.00 each the money just is not there. To keep fuel in the trucks, pay the Electric bill phone. I don't know how we have done what we have. God is with us..
