I actually began with Crystal Springs Vol. Fire at 17 as a Junior member. I left there when I went to college and didn't go back to the fire services until my now wife (who also was with Crystal Springs vol. dept) moved in with me and wanted to be part of our local fire dept. We both joined up and haven't looked back since.

    Yea Ithink I remember her saying somethig about that,good luck with class. I passed my EMT-A class so know I get to play a little more than I could as a EMT-B in TN, now if Kentucky will get a EMT-A I wont have to worry about what side of the line I'm on.
