Why I Joined Fire/EMS: always wanted to help people but didn't want to be a RN because it seems like they just have to do what doctors tell them to and i didn't want to do that. plus i've never been good with having a boss staring over my shoulder so this is the perfect job for me.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: the adrenaline rush
Top Issues Facing Responders:: crappy pay, lazy emts that make everyone else look back, and we're still kinda the bastard-children of emergency services
