Founder of the Red Helmets M/C Ride (Honors all Firefighters killed in the line of duty). Ride goes to the Natl Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Emmitsburg every Oct. (www.redhelmetsmcride.org).

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- 3rd generation. Mr Grandfather was a fireman and Chief in a small volunteer dept in Lily Dale, New York. A summer community near Buffalo. My Dad was a Police Officer with Hyattsville City (MD) Police Dept and was a Life Member of Branchville VFCo

- the thrill of it all
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- safety and coming home alive. Too many (approximately 100+) firefighters each year are LODD. Recruiting and retaining volunteers is also a major concern for all volunteer departments.
