Why I Joined Fire/EMS: the sense of family. i belong. to go in and make a difference for someone, the thrill. im not an indoor person, i have to be out there doing things.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: makeing a difference for someone and belonging to something important. in the city you get a lot of bs calls "take me to the hospital couse i got a cut on my finger two days ago" but in that mix there is always one who truly needs you and llooks at you with a smile to say thanks for what you do. that makes it worth it to me.
