I'm 22 years old and I have been on the Ashburnham Fire Department since I was 16. I'm kind of girly/sporty and when people first meet me and I tell them I am a firefighter I usually get odd looks or "You're too little/cute/dainty to be a firefighter!" But trust me I love the rush of fighting a fire and helping those in need. I love the colors pink and blue and I love to shop, sing, act, write, dance and just have a good time. I love the Boston Red Sox! I also like the Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. I play softball and floor hockey and I love working out and staying in shape.
I am going to school to be a History teacher or possibly a lawyer. I haven't fully decided yet. Firefighting will ALWAYS be a part of my life.
I have the most incredible group of friends both on and off the fire department. They complete me! =)
I have a wonderful boyfriend Mike who supports me and loves me for all that I do. He is my best friend and my rock. Without him I wouldn't be the strong woman that I am today. I love him so much.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I love helping people. My dad has been a firefighter for almost 30 years now and my grandfather was a Lt. I grew up around the fire station and I guess you could say it was only natural for me to join. I love the job and I love what I do.
