Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined my local dept. after my mother. It all started as a plan to bring us back together as a family after a rough divorce between my parents.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I enjoy being able to help others who otherwise wouldn't be able to help themselves. The way I see it, any person I save may go on in life to do great things and I should do everything in my power to give them that opportunity.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of funding, lack of public knowledge/ interest, lack of available volunteers
