To get my EMT-B (The dept would pay for it if I passed it) but after going through the fire academy I realized that you don't have to be 6'2" and 250 lbs to hit a hydrant or run the pump and it is a lot of fun.

Nice shots Barbara, you have a great eye for photography.
Keep up the good work. Hope you are enjoying the new camera.
Just got back from California last night.
Message from Mark Dodge - re: Santiam Academy 25SEP - I am unavailable to attend this session and will contact you for details on the training hand-outs.
Greetings Barbara, since I was attending the Oregon EMS conference in Salem and missed your presentation this past weekend, are there any hand-out materials that I should pick up to review? I will check around for another agency that may be hosting a similar event to gain this skill-set during the Academy. If you know of some to contact or if you are bringing that training to a requesting agency, please let me know. Keep up the great work. I look forward to meeting you on the Fire-ground. Mark D.
