    Hi Georges!

The turnout gear we use right now is supplied by Weenaas 112, it is a Norwegian company but with offices in Sweden also.
    http://www.wenaas112.com/
The gear we have now is not yet available on their website since we are trying it out before they sell it to others (some small fixes is to be made on them)

The clear colour has two mayor benefits:
It is easier to see when the turnout gear is contaminated and needs to be washed, it is also less prone to pick up heat compared to darker colours.
We changed some years ago from traditional black and I see no reason to go back.

It is a thinner model that I think works ok in fires, and since it is thinner it does not get so hot during other rescue operations.
We had a thicker gear before that worked a little better at fires but overall these new ones are much better. Though I think the collar on the jacket is too long and it interferes with the face mask too much.
The old ones were the same brand and they could take some serious beating so I guess these new ones will hold up good as well.

I do not know if it is PBI, I can check, the last gear we had was PBI but I have not looked at thes (I guess they are PBI)

Other departments use Viking (Like Malmö) and they are very happy with it I believe, though I have not tried it.

Just ask again if you need more information!

    Best regards / Lars
