Hey man. We have Minitor 5/Vs. They're not too bad, except our Dispatch system switched primarily to 800 about a year & 1/2 ago. The initial dispatch frequency is still simulcast on VHF, but they also changed our operating frequency to a completely separate channel that we cannot monitor with our pagers =[. This was done to allow direct Fire to EMS communication (and to save money). However, it makes it extreeemely difficult to know whether or not we need to continue POV response to incidents like alarm activations and other "possible"-type incidents. Why do you ask??
