Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Originally I wanted to be a large animal vet. After shadowing one for a day I realized it would never be enough of a challenge. I went to a training with my dad (a captain on his dept.) and knew that was what I wanted to do. Have always had a drive to help people and I love the camaraderie and never knowing what the day will bring.
