I am new to firefighting but am eager to learn. I joined to be an asset to my community by saving lives and property. My previous job experience with the railroad educated me on the importance of safety, lets all strive to bring everyone home!
Someone wise said to me recently.. "..you are a glutton for punishment aren't you?". I still tried, but ended up at a dead end on the same road you are travelling, as have others on this road. Good luck.
You know, you're right. By reading this comment you wouldn't know how to take it. For that, I appologise. I was referring to your attempt to help the young fella who is currently the poster child for the wrong attitude for firefighting. I was in no way meaning to say anything negative towards you. Just trying to be friendly and pass on some words of advice. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for the message. I hate I missed you guys yesterday. I had to do some work out of town and was unable to make the tests. I'm sure I'll get to meet you at some point as the classes keep rolling or on a mutual aid. Stay safe out there!
