- I was raised an Army brat and lived all over the USA. I graduated from h.s. in Heidelberg, Germany. I now live in Virginia. I have been with my husband 18 years. He is a paramedic. We have a daughter that was born in 2005. We have a chocolate lab, a golden retriever, and two cats.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I always wanted to work in the medical field. I went to my local rescue squad to take a CPR class and was invited to ride along. I rode along the next weekend and have been doing this every since.
- Why I Love Fire/EMS
- I love being on the road and helping others.
