About Me:
Got hired at SCEMS right out of EMT class, and have been there since. Great company, because they're paying for me to go through HACC's Paramedic program! (And I'm doing very well in it...I'd never hear the end of it if I didn't!) No other info...I worked in medicine for 10 years prior to EMS, but when I started my job, as low-paying as it may be, I felt like I was finally home.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I love the adrenaline rush and, even more, having the ability to help other people. To me it's an honor to be able to soothe someone who needs it just as much as it's an honor to run a good trauma. There's more to why I'm in this, but it's a loooooooooong story.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Besides helping people, I love the fact that every day is a chance to learn something new.
