Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Originally joined up to just help with their website, it was not hard to talk me in to joining the operations side of the house.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Constantly challenging situations we all face everyday are a nice break from the desk and computers.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
At this stage of exposure to the fire service I have noticed that Automatic Fire Alarms (AFA's) tend to wear down the crews. We know one of these times it will be a worker, but it seems to dull your response when you get a cluster of them (5-6) in a row that turn in to dressing practice or you get a block down the road to get cancelled. Just my observation so far...
