    Hey i work at the blount county fire department if you want to do this you should come in and apply for a part time firefighter position. you only have to be 18 to do that. that is a good start.

    no lots of people have had tickets. heck you wasnt even speeding and that is what they worry about most. to do it just come into a fire hall and fill out an application the county has 7 different ones our website is blountfire.org and that will give you an idea of our locations. and when ever we take on some part timers they will give you a call. not sure when they will be taking some on but i have heard in the next couple of months.
