Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined because when I was just 5 years old my home was burned down. To see the pain the suffering and the loss that my family had to deal with, even at that young of an age I knew then what I wanted to be when I grew up. As soon as I got the chance to become a fireman I couldn't believe it and I will never give this job up. Even though I can't stop every fire out there I will try my best to educate my community on fire prevention and fire safty.
