In N.Y.C. Volunteers are not funded by City or State. Money comes fron community. Dealing with FF who don't believe Volunteers should operate.

    My department is in Pickens County which is in west central Alabama. We are due west of Tuscaloosa. You would need to follow US Highway 82 going toward the Mississippi state line. I work in Tuscaloosa at Thompson Tractor (the local Caterpillar dealer) I am roughly 34-38 miles from Tuscaloosa
