i am currently a firefighter with engine company no.2
of the winsted fire department been on the job as an actual firefighter for 5 years and i was an explorer for 4 years i am looking to become a paid firefighter in mass. either springfield or boston and in ct. either hartford or bridgeport im looking into getting my emt and cpat to move forward with my dreams of starting the career tradition with in my fammily

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
i joind following my fathers footsteps he served in burlington ct for 25 years and is now a member with burville ct. my brother and 5 of my uncles are or were firefighters so i guess you can say becauase i grew up around it its in my dna
Why I Love Fire/EMS
i love it because i love the challenges associated with the job
Top Issues Facing Responders:
new technoligy it seems it can be a crutch at times
and sometimes we are so used to grabbing a line and going in to search that we dont always look at if there is even a chance good can be done and it kills us
