Thanks for the reply Eng Co 4. What does PM mean? I like your Seagraves. The first engine that I put a bid on was a 1934 open cab 1,000 gpm Seagraves, it was in Lock Haven, Pa. Years later I found out that a company bought it for their fire birgade and it finally ended up in a junk yard. I'm in Sunbury, Pa. where the North and West branches of the Susquehanna River meet. The reason that I stopped trying to buy an engine
is because I don't have any place to store it inside. My wife told me several times that If I wanted one to buy one. But I realized that in the end it would
be a toy that I could not afford. My brother has owned 2 engines. He sold the first one and the second one just sits in his driveway because he can't
afford to get if fixed. Have you ever had your engine to the Pump Primers
muster in Harrisburg, Pa? After I win the lottery I'll come down and talk you
about some of those leads. Got to go keep it safe and look out for the younger brothers.
I just got back from a visit to MD last Sunday. Spent a couple of evenings with the crew at Hyattsville. Although I live in FL, I still do some part time consulting work for BAE Systems (the old Vitro) so that gives me a reason to go up that way about once a month. I often have lunch with Joe Fitzgerald when I am there (he owns the old Brentwood ALF engine). I am a member of a SPAAMFAA chapter here in FL but things are so spread out there isn't really that much to do with antique apparatus here. Hope we can get together sometime. Doc

P.S. I love the "shorty" Seagrave you own.
