About Me:
My name is Zach. I'm a member of Mount Hermon Volunteer Fire & Rescue and Dry Fork Volunteer Fire Department. I've been with Mount Hermon since i first got into Fire/EMS and plan to stay a member as long as i'm in the service. I was a former member of 2 other local agencies, but through trial and error finally found that Dry Fork Fire Dept was where i wanted my 2nd membership to be. I love doing what i do and hope to make it a career very soon. Until then i'll continue to volunteer all the spare time i can.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I overheard a member of a neighboring department discussing how much he loved being a member of his agency one day while we were in English class my Jr year of high school. I went to the department in my area and joined on a whim just to do something productive with my spare time. The more i did, the more hooked on it i became to where now i'm at the point that i couldn't imagine my life without being in the Fire/EMS service.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I can't really think of any one particular thing that makes me love it so much, but make no mistake it's my life.
