Why I Joined Fire/EMS

To serve others and so police officers could have role models! Lol! I love people and what better way to show it than to serve them in their time of need! We have many roles as a firefighter such as Hazmat response, medical, rescue, fire suppression, and even public relations, all of which gives us an opportunity to help others and make new friends!

Other drivers on the road not yielding when we are responding to an emergency.
Volunteer departments not having the proper equipment and training.
Need a commission to regulate volunteer departments to ensure proper training and equipment.
