Hello there. I did get a chance to read through the storyline that you posted on my page. It is the powerful reality of truth, yet is the truth that kill firefighters every year. I appreciate any imput I receive from the many faces of FFN as it is an additional motivator to continue the mission.
Through actions like those of the pledge here and the other various pledges across the globe, legislation is now in affect which is going to change the way things get done. Now seat belt sensors (like in POV's) which are weight sensative will become mandated. Apparatus will be deemed "not driable" until all occupants that occupy seats are belted in. Light strips on the dash will provide the drives and/or officer to see who the violator is and the corrective measures taken.
In due time, this avoidable LODD will dwindle and go away.

That Vince Gill song put me into hysterics when I first listened to it. (most likely because my wife hates it lol)

In closing, be well and stay safe. Thanks for championing the cause.

    Mike
