I am 26 and have been around the fire service all of my life. My dad was a engineer, and water rescuer. Though we didnt get along very well, i always looked up to him, and swore one day i would surround my self with that atmostphere. My soon to be husband has been a firefighter for 15 years. He had a really bad accident about 3 years ago that landed him in the hospital burn unit for over a month. While it was hard to cope with it, i found a way with the brotherhood that i have come to know so well. I have never in my life seen the commitment, and love that i have seen in the various departments. I commend you all and what you for our great country.
adina.otw@gmail.com, thank you so much!!! I'm working on a project as a gift for our chief, he was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I haven't been able to find decent quality grafics without paying an arm and a leg for them. God Bless you and yours
Hi Mandee, I joined this group to share our incredible wellness story with everyone. I helped my husband get well (and saved his life) and I got healthier, also. Many of our men and many of us need to get healthier. If you’re interested in more information about this life changing program please send me an email at: wellness2390@aol.com Thanks, Jan
we haven't chatted in a while and I don't know if I responded but you being the wife of a FF is just as important because the support you give, I believe makes your guy a better fire fighter. are you on facebook/ fire fighter nation??? I am on there a lot more. I hope that we can talk more. My fiance supports me but i know he worries every time i go out that door. I may be deploying to Afghanistan and I think that will be just as hard for him.
