About Me:
I joined the De Pere Fire Department in 1970. Retired in 2000. Gave the first 1st aid training to the department. I was a Navy Hospital corpsman with the US Marine in Vietnam in 1966-67 which is why the Fire Chief approved my application. We had our first EMT's in 1972 and the first paramedics in wisconsin in 1974. I had the priviledge of attending the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg Maryland for three different courses.,

With my firefighting training in the Navy and my medical training it seemed like a good way to use my skill set.
