Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Way back in high school, the Volunteer Chief didn't need women's auxillary but needed members. My dad was once a volunteer firefighter although I didn't know it until I joined. I've stayed a member in order to serve my community and family and a huge satisfaction when you can help others.
