Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I was invited to participate in behind-the-scenes support activities at the Fort Worth Fire Department in 1989 by my very good friend Robert Burn. I quickly became addicted to the adrenaline and the comraderie during those first few years of riding out.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I enjoy making a difference in the community by helping those in need.
hey norm i know im not with cresson anymore and all is going great here in oklahoma i finally got all my schooling done and i also got my fire fighter 1 test completed and passed with flying colors, i appreciate the efforts from all of yall in cresson if i hadnt been apart of your station i dont think i would have ever passed the test
Lt.,Tindell. I always wondered what f.f. was like in Texas. Im glad to see that Im not the only one that has the grin doing what they love. You are correct that it doesnt take much adrenalin to get hoooked.I am assuming that e.m.s. is you cup of tea also. Awsome pics! Be safe in all you do.

Lots information and pictures on there.
I am going to see if I can a site for your department.
Norm Thanks for the welcome and the compliment about me being a roofman and wearing all my PPe. I am actually on an engine and just happened to be in the right place at the right time for that great picture. I am teased by my old Captain and crew for being a Truckie on an engine. I really enjoy roof ops and forcible entry. Have a safe holiday season.
Hey Norm Thanks for the add. I am overseas and its a different animal here. I was working for a contracting company working for the US govt on a Marine base but since moved on to a NATO base working for NATO. We have British guys here mainly. There is only like 3 Americans and we are all drivers. The brits way of doing things sometimes are alot different and its a hassle but we make the best of it and stary safe. Thanks for supporting us evne though Im not in the military we are here to keep them safe. If you are interested I could trade some t shirts. I would say patches but we only have vinyl stickers not and actualy patch. We do have challenege coins also. When I get home I have challenege coins and tshirts from my old base also.
I;m so glad. Romania is a beautiful country with great people. Firefighters are military structures in conditions of crisis intervention techniques to handle difficult in the 90s.
Unfortunately our institutional contacts with outsiders are rare, especially those made centrally. The operative units is difficult to get in touch with colleagues from outside Europe, especially due to high costs that can not be sustained. Internet news we can find techniques and tactics and make friends. For now
You're welcome. I'm glad you accepted my invitation to friendship. I am happy that I will be able to learn something from your experience in firefighting. Greetings from Serbia !
I just came in from checking heifers at midnight and cruised by your profile. I must of had the volume up by accident and the music scared the hell out of me! Good music though! Anyway, greetings from Montana! Just thirty five miles from Canada!
