About Me:
Im Thomas. 22 years old from Alabama. I love doing anything outdoors. I am a country boy raised in the south so the outdoors thing just comes natural. Love me some bass fishing. Like most other guys I am into trucks but they got to be a diesel. Right now I work as a contract firefighter in Afghanistan at Kandahar Air Base. Its one of the largest in Afghanistan. Its a Nato Base. I also spent a year over here with another company working on a small FOB which was an American Marine Base. I have worked a few career departments back home but the longest one I have been with is Odenville Fire because I started volunteering there at 16. I fell in love with the job and decided to do this full time. Why I am in the desert I have no clue. All I can say is money but I love the job. It has its perks and then some days its like why did I sign up for this. Anyways if you want to know more just ask.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined because I feel in love with firefighting when I started volunteering and knew that this was the job for me. I love the excitement and the adrenline rush. This is a job where you can hold your head high and know at the end of the day you gave your all.
