About Me:: I was born in the late summer of 1995. I am a 15 year old junior firefighter with Dudley Fire Department in Wayne County, North Carolina. Firefighting has been in my family since the early 1900's. However, I am the first generation modern firefighter. I have my permit, and drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. Yes, if you are wondering, I do have POV lights, I know alot of people are against juniors having them, but they help when you are treated just like any other firefighter on your department.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: It is in my blood. Also to honor my late cousin, William Kenneth Butler, who committed suicide. He was a volunteer Firefighter and EMT in Dunn for several years before becoming a correctional officer.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: The adrenaline, the brotherhood, and the satisfaction
Top Issues Facing Responders:: In my opinion, the top issues facing firefighters is budget cuts, people who just don't care anymore, and lack of recruitment.
