Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My father is a volunteer firefighter and there was something interesting about how he'd just pick up and leave when his pager went off. He would take me on calls (I'd stay in the vehicle of course) and watch him fight fires. I knew I wanted to be right there with him as soon as I was old enough.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Honestly, I feel as though it's my calling. After I fought my first fire and worked on my first patient, I knew there was nothing else I would rather do.
