Why I Joined Fire/EMS: was kind of a family thing. my grandfather was a firefighter, my mother an EMT so i was kind of born into it
Why I Love Fire/EMS: the feeling you get when you know that you have helped someone eles.also because of the brotherhood.
Top Issues Facing Responders:: staffing (recruitment and retention). the decline of vol has really had an impact on the fire service

thank you, I hope yours was safe as well! man, 2010...time flys doesnt it...can't believe it! I was doing wine tasting with the family yesterday and the gal at one of the winerys brought up how we made all these futuristic movies that were supposed to represent 2010 time frames and look where we are now...not even close! lol. but it just kinda blew my mind to think about what she had said...craziness...

Justin i wish i could say 80 degrees and sunny but i can't lol. Its around 18 and we are expected to catch this weather system coming out of the south, brining snow and misery. well at least it isnt lake effect snow fall off lake Erie haha. Tell me are you going down to the Firehouse Expo this year in Baltimore Md ?
