Jannelle, just wanted to say thank you for the insight you are able to give to all of us here. One of the hardest things we do is dealing with MCI and by you letting them speak about the incident, it does help with what actually they are seeing and are going thru.
Keep up the good work and look forward to reading more.

Hey Janelle, my wifes name is Janell but that is irrelevant- (maybe not) but I appreciate any help I can get with leadership. I am a great leader, have had numerous leadership classes as a district manager in business. Like I tell my guys there are folks that can fight fire better than me but nobody can keep you alive and lead you better than me. I may feel different than other folks with my volunteer dept that averages 170 calls a year. I feel my job is to do the best I can to save lives, but if lives are not in jeopardy I will not risk any firefighters lives to save property!! yes we do interior attacks but not if fully involved, I think you know my point!!!
    Thanks,
    Chief Bruce McKenzie

Hey Janelle a follow up is that the Cambria VF company in Niagara County one of their engines burned in the Hall ,,,Clarence Center went with gear and Coffee and snacks to assist them after all they had done at the Crash Site.
That is what this career is all about

My name is Adel and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern algerinne University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at adel_pomper@hotmail.com or leave me a commentDelete Comment
