Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Always wanted to be a fireman and I was at a time in my life where I could finally go for it,that was my only regret is that I could not become one earlier in life.I always wanted to help people in need and this was my thing.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The adreniline rush and the gratifying feeling I get when I help someone that is in peril!!
Richard, Welcome to the Firefighter Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all.
Richard, thanks! LMAO.....Sorry this took so long. The Fins hat stays bro...my cousin is also FF/Medic and he's a Cowboys fan too, so it's starting to look like I'm outnumbered. Good thing I can take the heat. LOL
Hey...The Cuz isn't on yet...trying to talk him into it. LOL it's only a matter of time before FFN becomes the new craze...hahaha
Only some will actually understand though...as far as the fins go...Keep talkin....I hear you, but I'm not sure I'm listenin'...haha
Hey Richard: Welcome to FFN. Great to meet you. I am sure we can get in trouble together even over the miles ;-) I look forward to seeing you throughout the pages. Stay Safe. Heather
Just finished Philosophy and a CJS class. Keeping a great GPA... Workin at it. Starting again Jan. 3rd. All is ok. Totalled my new car last week...OUCH. Trying to recoup. No fun being the patient on rescue and not the rescuer!! FML. Thank God for small favors, I'm HERE..... The car's not so lucky. Tractor trailer came over clipped me and it was a mess of metal and rubber after that. Craziness.
Here is the info requested. I came to Canada as a vacation/working trip - I conducted leadership training for 12 fire departments up there in the Jasper region. I did the class for free. They took care of all the expenses: air fare, hotel accomidations, and auto expenses for myself and my wife for the week.
