I am 39 years old and married to a wonderful lady that takes good care of me. I have 4 wonderful children. I graduated from Brush High School and dam proude of it . I am just me but when that pager goes off then i am a firefighter that is out there just doing what i can to help other people firefighting is not a job its a adventure.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Well i m going to say it the way i said it when i first started . I like driveing fast and putting out the fire and leaveing a big wet mess.

I joined because i have been helping people all my life and so i joined because i thought that i could help other people this way and also give back to my community.

Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think that sometimes we are makeing the wrong move on a fire scene. And most of the problem is people are not watching out for us , and what i mean by that is people not moveing over when we are responding or they pull right in out in a intersection. Get what i mean.

    No need to relinquish your maleness - I like strong men - just don't try to trample on my female-ness :-) Women know what women like... How sad that he doesn't already what his woman would like! I really think he was asking from a legal perspective - such as legally can he wear his dress uniform... but it was more fun to talk about other things - instead of answering his legal question...

    and 30 days will be a time trial - let's see if you beg for mercy before then... like many do...

    now for this evening... and this lifetime... I am back to my mischief making...

    Doug, I am on Glyndon fire dept in Minnesota its about 4 miles to the North Dakota border I have been here for about 3 years before that I was on Raymond MN dept. I have been doing firefighting and EMT for 12years now.

  • Fabulous Heather Days of Summer

    Well I guess WAITING for a good call is better than CREATING a good call...

    Here in Southern California we have been in a State of Emergency for the better part of a week - rain, flood, mudslides, dead / missing people. Most of the roads in my town are closed - houses falling off cliffs, my road is a river, etc. My yard privacy fence blew down - I am going to go try to jimmy-rig it back up right now.
