Welcome to FFN from New Hampshire and congrats on conquering the ladder drill and all of the other stressors in training / life / and home. I taught an ARFF Class to some Morristown, NJ Firefighters a while ago, good group of guys down there. If any of them are here on FFN pass the word that I have a page here too. Stay safe. Bill
Congratulations. I look forward to reading more of your posts; I just applied to be a volunteer firefighter and I'm 43. Must be having a midlife crisis... I've always been interested just never did anything about it. Best wishes and take care.
Hi again....I have to ask....Do you guys have all red trucks or do you also have yellow..?? I need a pic of a yellow one with "Morristown" logo....its part of a pracitical joke on a neighboring department....Good luck at the Academy....Paul
No knot tying at all huh?! Glad you passed, sometimes its good to be nervous about things, keeps your adrenaline pumping and you on your toes. Hope you did well on your written test. I remember it being a long and drawn out test. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. TCSS

I want to wish you a happy holidays. I hope they stay quiet. I always hate fires around the holidays cause you know someones holiday was ruined. Stay safe.
Hello Denise, It wanted in these so special days, to give the thanks for all it received, to build a place where can be with all my family and friends, those of fence and the from a distance. The ones that have accompanied me always and the of now. Those that I see each day and the ones that seldom Find. The ones that have accompanied me in the difficult moments, and the of the happy hours. Those to whom I know deeply, and those to whom I know barely by their appearances. To the ones that without wanting I wounded and the ones that without wanting they wounded me. The ones that owe me and those to whom I owe them a lot. The same old they recalled, and the ones that at times are forgot me. You want to recall to all the ones that passed through my life and to desire them some happy festivals, that can find the peace that need and to enjoy the love of their families and of those that love them. That the Hope, The Love and the Peace Flourish for all You…
Thanks for the add as a friend. It has been awhile since I have been on here so I am sorry that it took me so long to accept you as a friend. Good luck in your fire service career and I look forward to talking to you soon.
Just stoppiong by to say thanks for the add.. and also im one to support women in the fire dept unlike some of the others i have read out there heyy if you can do it too then why not join well take care and stay safe and thanks again
Hello Denise, Welcome to Firefighter Nation. You have joined the most prestigious organization there is and its something to be very proud of and learn as much as you can and if you are Volunteer and decide to go Career you can have a very exciting career . Unfortunately in PA the depts are mainly Volunteer when they should be paid. I feel that way about any dept that risks their lives for the common taxpayers because the police and ems and 911 dispatchers all get paid and I feel its time for the firefighters to stop being left out. But any way I don't want to chew your ear off but I wish you a very successfull career and enjoy it one door opens another always remember that. May God Bless You Always. Stay Safe. Becarefull. Hughie The 57 House Go STEELERS AND BUCS AND PANTHERS AND NITTANY LIONS AND THE PENS!!!!!!!!:-):-)

My name is Adel and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern algerinne University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at adel_pomper@hotmail.com or leave me a commentDelete Comment

Hold your head up Denise, I went through a similar situation with job and divorce and rest assured it gets better. Keep busy with the fire department, kids and friends and you will be just fine. Good luck and keep safe.
Thank you Chief! Let me know what the postage is and I will send you a check, and what I owe you for the shirt. You know I was thinking my daughter was born up your area, in Scotia, and the last time I was there was when we adopted her 18 years ago. Boy what a different person I am now. Who would've known?? LOL
Welcome to my list Denise. Hope the job is going great. Sure glad you are thinking about that proposal. ;) lol Hope we can chat sometime. hey, brain wave here.. lol duh.. if you happen to use yahoo messenger, I am heatseeker4019. Since we are practically engaged now, I suspect the natural next step would be friends or bestest buds or something along that line. Anyway, take care. I look forward to hearing from you. Oh, and about that Florida prince.. you know what they say about Fla. Princes right?
later :)
Im a FF in Ca., and I am trying to connect with folks on the East Coast for a great opportunity for a fire safe product that may be on interest to you or someone you know... Check out this website about a great product that is an alternative to candles. No flame, no wick... Great business opportunity! There are only 239 reps in New Jersey, and it's blown up in the midwest (over 14,000 in Texas) Let me know what you think of the product, or contact my wife on her site for more info! Thanks and have a great day! https://wendyheathnewgass.scentsy.us
