When I was 12 our house caught on fire.My sister and I were trapped in our room, part of the ceiling had fallen and we couldnt get out.The HFD saved us and went back in to get our dog.Its just something that amazed me as 8 yr old,That there was someone who didnt even know me risk there life to save me and went back and got my dog to.So I chose the fire/EMS field, and love it.
