I am really enthralled with the History of Firefighting and have many questions since I've been in about certain things. I may even send questions to you from time to time if you don't mind. :^) Well, have a Blessed Day, Be Safe and I will talk to you Soon!

Louise, thanks for the invite as a friend. Its always good to network with others in this great "family" we have in firefighting. Love your photos of the old apparatus. We have a 1953 Ford F-800 Big Job Fire Engine at our station-I love taking it out and driving it, it's like going back in time and letting that Federal Q wail too!! Nice to meet you-Mike.

    Thank you Louise :)

Hellow Louise. Thanks for writing. I love your pictures. Is it ok for me to download a few. I especially like the car with the hose going thru the windows. as I parked my car a MSJ Junior college last night I made sure my car was well past 15 feet of the hydrant. I thought about my windows being punched out and a leaky house in my backseat. NO thanks.

    Louise,
You are a inspiration to me. i cannot use my left arm and hand. I would have loved to become a Firefighter and EMS. My husband and youngest son are on our local Fire department. I find giving of myself to the community, somehow makes me feel not so useless since I cannot work for the past ten years.
Thank You for adding me as a friend. I am looking forward to learning more through FFN.
    Eleanor
